Afco Racing Drag Shocks

AFCO DOUBLE Adjustable Shocks are the ultimate tool in the chassis tuner's arsenal. The DOUBLE adjustments of both compression and rebound dampening are completely independent — changing the setting of one has no effect on the setting of the other.

By allowing full control over both compression and rebound forces, this shock gives the tuner the ability to fine tune every aspect of chassis movement to provide the ultimate in acceleration control and overall driveability.

You may be wondering, "What exactly is a Twin Tube?" The shock actually has a smaller tube inside the body that the piston rides on. This design is used to separate the oil from the low pressure gas chamber to allow the shock to be mounted up-side down and makes the valving more responsive.

We also recommend pairing your front drag shocks with AFCO's AFCOIL springs which can be selected with differing spring rates. We recommend the following as a guideline:

275-pound springs for 2800-3000 pound cars
300-pound springs for 3000-3200 pound cars
325-pound springs for cars above 3200 pounds and above

The AFCO Bearing kit makes for easy ride height adjustments for the front shocks, and can also be used in the rear if you are running a coil-over type set up. One package provides bearings and washers for two shocks.
