Zero9's BlackOps Carbon Fiber helmet line is designed to bring you the benefits of Carbon Fiber Composite construction – stronger, safer shell, lighter weight, not to mention the high-tech look of Carbon Fiber – at great values.
How can they do this when others brands charge over $500, $700, $800 and more for carbon fiber helmets? For starters, Zero9 doesn’t have $40 million in operating expenses, they don’t have an all-glass & steel high-rise executive suite office building, they don’t have $12 million in athlete contracts to pay, and they don’t have a $8 million advertising budget. Next time you buy a big-brand helmet, you might wonder how much of your money went to pay for costs totally unrelated to designing & manufacturing the actual helmet.
Zero9's focus is less on marketing and more on building quality, protective, comfortable helmets. Their factory has a comprehensive helmet impact testing facility on-site, and they conduct their own helmet testing with each production run for virtually all worldwide impact certifications. Zero9 builds all of their own tooling, mold the outer shells and the EPS-foam inner shells, and cut & sew the liners in-house.
All of the motorsports helmets are Snell Certified, and carry the appropriate Snell label inside the EPS shell. Zero9 is just have a few dedicated people, a small industrial building – and years of design & manufacturing expertise. And truly, a passion for motorsports.
