DEI's header and exhaust wrap is the first step in controlling underhood temperatures. This product is designed to keep heat in the exhaust and evacuate it out of the engine compartment. Wrapping your headers will reduce underhood temperatures by up to 50% while providing additional horsepower, engine protection and passenger comfort. All exhaust wraps are not alike! DEI starts with a hi-temp fiberglass composite material then adds a proprietary coating to enhance heat retention and expand durability. They are also the only manufacturer to add ¼” guidelines to ensure proper installation without the guess work.

   Titanium Exhaust Wrap
Constructed from pulverized lava rock, extruded into fibers and then woven into a tight weave gives this material titanium-like strength and toughness. This improvement in thermal protection helps reduce underhood temperatures resulting in cooler air intake for improved performance. And less heat in the engine bay means reducing the chances of “heat soak” conditions on vital underhood components.

Titanium Wrap is extremely durable and capable of handling more heat than any other wrap found in the market today. Typical glass fiber wrap is rated at handling 1200 degrees F of maximum direct heat, while Design Engineering’s new Titanium Wrap, using LR Technology, is capable of handling direct continuous heat up to 1800 degrees F and radiant heat up to 2800 degrees F. And because it’s pliable, there’s no need to wet the wrap when wrapping headers or pipes as many do in order to make the wrapping process easier to manage and to get a “tight” wrap.

Available in 1” and 2” widths and 15 and 50 foot lengths, Titanium Wrap will not shrink and because of it’s material structure, it is more resistant to temperature and vibration break-down, abrasions, chemical and hot oil spills vs. glass fiber wrap. Plus DEI’s Titanium Wrap offers an added feature - a very cool carbon fiber look!

Flowmaster's "Y" Collectors provide a smooth transition when fabricating a custom single exhaust requiring a Y connection.  Constructed from aluminized steel.

MagnaFlow's stamped Y-Pipe and Tru-X Pipe transitions are great for custom exhaust fabrication.  These work well for single to  dual exhaust, dual to dual exhaust, and balance tube applications.

This kit allows a new style heated oxygen sensor to be installed on a vehicle that originally came with a non-heated, 1 wire sensor. The heated oxygen sensors are more active and more responsive than the non-heated sensors and are also more resistant to contaminates such as lead. Typical applications are late 1980's through early 1990's GM vehicles when aftermarket headers are used or a great choice when replacing the factory non-heated O2 sensors. Simple two-wire installation. Kit comes complete with 4-wire heated oxygen sensor and adapter harness.

The elegant solution to exhaust clamps are these stainless steel band clamps.  The flat stainless steel band wraps around the joints in your exhaust system and cinch tight to provide a leak-proof seal and strong clamping action.
