1997-2004 Corvette Wiring Harnesses & Solutions
One of the most common and annoying problems with the C5 model Corvette is the steering column lock getting stuck! There is nothing like walking out to your car after a hard day's work only to find your $45k sports car
is immobile due to a faulty lock. Fortunately, there is a way around this. A column lock simulator will allow you to disable the factory locking mechanism, while allowing the car's computer to still believe everything is
working problem free. All year C5's with a 6 speed transmission, and all pre-2001 model C5's with an automatic can use this device. 2001 and later model automatic cars do not have a column lock at all, however the 6 speed
cars retained it. Included with the simulator is a Torx T-15 tool useful for getting the interior knee panel off during installation, and a brief instruction sheet.
Please note: If your column is already locked, the C5 column lock simulator will not unlock your steering column. You may be able to shake the steering wheel while turning the key to the on position to get it loose, and if that is the case, as long as you can get it unlocked you can then install a bypass and not have to worry about it anymore.
For 1997 and 1998 cars, there is a possibility you will randomly see a message "Pull key and wait 10 seconds" with a Column Lock Simulator. Thus far, 2% of my customers have had it, and other manufacturers have had the same issue with 1997 and 1998 model cars. Designed to prolong the life of your turbocharger and/or oil. The Innovate Motorsports Auto Timer will allow a vehicle to idle the engine for a timed period, with the ignition key removed. This conveniently allows the engine
oil and turbo center cartridge to cool down properly and prolong turbo and oil life. This can be done by two programmable count down presets, or you can use its three auto timer modes (Low-Normal-High). A Manual Timer,
Volt-Meter, and *Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Display are also standard features. Using the Auto Timer to display your Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio requires one of the following Innovate Motorsports wideband controllers: LC-1, LM-1, or
LM-2 (*Not included in base Auto Timer kit, P/N: 3830). The Auto Timer Air/Fuel Ratio display range is 7.4 to 22.4, with a 0-5 volt linear input. The safety option for the parking brake can be used to disengage operation if
vehicle is attempted to be moved without the key.

This harness allows the cam sensor used on the front of a LS2 motor to be plugged into the LS1 cam sensor connector located at the back of the intake manifold. This harness is perfect for LS2 motor conversions. KEY FEATURES:
