MagnaFlow's system features 2.5" fast-flowing mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing and a pair of specially designed stainless steel C5 mufflers with single inlet and "True-Dual" outlets, complete with polished stainless steel tips attached. For added performance, a mandrel-bent mid pipe with Tru-X Crossover is available as part of the system or as an upgrade. Expect gains of 16.2 horsepower and 22.9 ft.-lbs. of torque from your C5.

Tired of the wimpy-sounding factory exhaust system on your C5 Corvette? Give it a great sound and some added muscle with Hooker's cat-back kit. This hot-looking system employs Hooker's famous Aero Chamber muffler — the muffler that uses the same "step" technology as many racing headers — to give 1997-present Corvettes a great, throaty sound that doesn't sound "hollow." The entire system is made from 2.5" mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing with four 3.5" polished stainless steel tips that let everyone know your Corvette means business.

Standard "Loud Mouth" systems use resonators rather than mufflers. "Loud Mouth II" systems use bullet-type race mufflers.
