1998-2002 LS1 F-Body Tubular K-Members
BMR Tubular K-members are designed to provide a lightweight alternative to the factory K-member as well as provide additional clearance for aftermarket headers
and turbo systems. Our unique design on our V8 models feature integrated frame stands that replace the factory cast iron frame stands. This additional weight reduction
allows us to use larger diameter tubing and thicker mounting plates for additional strength over the competition. This means that you can use the K-member
for street use, road race, autocross, or drag strip use. BMR K-members are built exclusively using larger diameter 1-5/8" x .120" and 1-1/4" x .095"
tubing yet still remain up to 7.5 lbs. lighter than the competitions due to our integrated mount design. Using our tubular K-member and upper/lower a-arm set, expect
a minimum weight reduction of 42 lbs. Combine this with a coil-over style spring/shock combo and a lightweight front brake setup and lose over 100 lbs. off the front
end! Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat.BMR also answers your requests with specialized versions of our K-members. We make K-members for manual rack conversions, high clearance variations for turbo downpipes, conversion K-members for traditional small and big block motor transplants, etc.

Spohn Performance's tubular k-member sets a new, higher standard of performance and quality. When we designed our k-member, we had several goals in mind. One was to provide the performance capabilities needed for the toughest
race tracks, another was to provide the strength and durability required for the demands of a daily driven vehicle. Our k-member provides substantial weight savings and frees up a lot of room in the engine bay for our drag
race customers, but it also provides the strength, rigidity, and durability for our road race, autox, and daily driver customers as well..... all in one package! Spohn's tubular k-member features gusseted a-arm mounts for
maximum rigidity and side load support. Our k-members are gusseted in critical areas (over 20 locations!) to ensure that a weld never breaks. They decrease overall weight, and provide much more room for large tube headers, turbo systems,
etc.Our k-member will accept stock a-arms, or for additional weight loss and performance enhancement tubular a-arms can be added. Our jig was built around the factory k-member providing for an exact fit and factory exact dimensions. Every detail of the factory k-member was incorporated, including all five brake line mounts. There's no "zip tying" of the brake lines with our k-member.

- CNC cut 3/16" steel gussets in over 20 locations for maximum strength and durability
- CNC cut and formed 3/16" steel a-arm mounts, solid welded inside and outside. Outside welds are sanded smooth to allow for a flush fit to the car, eliminate stress risers, and provide a clean and smooth professional appearance
- All a-arm mounts are gusseted front and rear for side load strength. The slots have been lengthened to provide much more a-arm adjustment over the stock k-member. Recessed passenger's side rear a-arm mount to provide clearance for long tube headers. Rear a-arm mount boxes are offset bent just like the factory k-member for factory exact fit and finish
- CNC cut and formed reinforced 3/16" steel factory rack mounts
- Welded in a special built rotary jig to insure an exact fit and precision welds entirely in the flat position
- Includes (6) new 12mm Grade 10.9 k-member mounting bolts and heavy flat washers
- Includes (8) new flanged head motor mount bolts and flanged head steel lock nuts
- Includes all five brake line mounts and new brake line mounting tab bolts and nuts
- "LSX" motor mounting pads allow for the installation of any Gen III engine (LS1, LS2, LS6, LS7, etc.)
- Durable and brilliant powder coated finish, your choice of red or black
