Remove the 35-40 lb battery and replace it with Performance Distributors 13.5 lb Dyna-Batt.  Dyna-Batt is only 7.5" Tall, 7" Wide, and 3" Deep, which makes it perfect for fitting is tight spots!  The Dyna-Batt is built with extremely low internal resistance which leads to faster, more consistent starting. The Dyna-Batt is a completely dry cell and can withstand the rigors of high performance and racing environments. It is built with corrosion resistant terminals and is truly maintenance free. The Dyna Batt has an excellent storage life and recharges very quickly.

Thunder Racing's GM side post adapters help to complete the installation of your Dyna-Batt battery. These adapters allow you to re-use your original battery cables without any modifications to the cables. Thunder Racing has also developed a new 5 lb Alumimum Hold-Down to make installation of the Dyna-Batt lightweight battery a snap! The Aluminum hold-down installs in the factory battery location and combined with the Dyna-Batt weigh 18lbs total, removing a minimum of 12 lbs from the front end of your car. (The factory battery is 30 lbs.)
