1998-2002 LS1 F-Body Coil Relocation

Have you ever wanted to clean up the look of your LS1 engine compartment?  Thunder Racing and Jay Fisher Pontiac have teamed up to bring you a complete kit that relocates the individual coil packs from the valve covers to the underside of the cowl at the back of your engine compartment.  This complete kit contains everything you need to do the install, including JFP's coil relocation brackets with complete instructions. Also included are custom Taylor ThunderVolt 10.4mm spark plug wires that are pre-made to the correct length for each cylinder and labeled with each cylinder number.

Katech designed and manufactured a cast aluminum valve cover for the LS1 and LS6 engines. These covers are a raised design which allows clearance for any LS1 style rocker arm. Unlike the C5-R covers, these use the stock gasket for sealing. This eliminates the expensive cylinder head o-ringing process. Just like the stock covers, these are totally isolated from the head by rubber. That means they will seal just as good as the stock covers do.

Another key feature is provisions for coil relocation brackets. These brackets allow the coils to be mounted off the top of the cover. This makes taking the covers on and off easier by removing the cover and coils as one piece instead of two for solid lifter valve lash adjustment.
