AIRAID's performance success story is really quite simple - we use the latest dyno-proven techniques and innovative designs to improve upon intake system efficiency. Therefore, the greater the efficiency level, the greater the horsepower output! Their unique inlet track and filter combination is substantially less restrictive when compared to production type OEM airboxes. In fact, air flow/cfm (cubic feet per minute) is dramatically improved up to 20% with our intake systems. The higher your engine's air flow, the greater its efficiency and horsepower output will be. Dyno-testing has resulted in gains as high as 18 horsepower, with no other changes or modifications! AIRAID uses nothing but the finest materials and production methods such as mandrel- formed, larger diameter tubing. Powder coating inside and out provides greater flow, protection against any harsh elements and improved eye-appeal. Many parts include special injection molding techniques. Plus, their filters are washable, reusable and last the life of the vehicle.

In the K&N tradition of engineering power, K&N Performance Kits are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle's engine to inhale a larger volume of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range, with even greater power gains in turbocharged and supercharged engines. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable.

K&N's Fuel Injection Performance Kits (FIPK) are K&N's ultimate performance product. These kits are street legal in all 50 states and are designed to increase horsepower as much as 10%! All FIPK kits come with a 10 year / million mile limited warranty and come complete with a recharger filter care service kit.

K&N Aircharger Performance Kits are similar to the FIPK's, but they do not have all of the necessary emissions fittings to make them street legal in all 50 states. These kits are designed for horsepower gains of as much as 10%, and are designed for off-road and racing use.

After one full year of R&D, the all new C-6 Snake charmer ram air induction kit from Vararam is finally ready for the street! The snake charmer is a heavy development of the original C-5 B2 unit. Vararam used information gathered from 12 special B2 Race units that we constructed for racing only.  These units featured many different internal aerodynamic packages and filter combinations, to maximize peak CFM and time to peak manifold pressure.  Vararam has always emphasized that it’s not just peak pressure, but the time to peak manifold pressure that is important.  This occurs at shift recovery, down in the meat of the power curve.  It helps for shooting off of corners, general drivability and overall peak performance, and shows up in the form of torque.  Like all VR units, the snake charmer was not designed for dynoing (pulling air), but for ramming air in.  As such, the aero package and shape of the unit are designed around this principle.  The philosophy is simple; design for the most efficient aero package possible at all speeds ranging from 10mph to 180mph. The snake charmer is over 108%-123% efficient!  How much power will you get?  Standing on a dyno without using any special programming, you should expect 10-15hp from any cold air kit.  However, once you start driving your C6, the VR will put all the lost MAP pressure back into the plenum yielding another 17 horsepower by 60mph and 19-20 HP at 90-100mph.  Your total power through a ¼ mile is up 32 Rear wheel hp.  You can expect gains of up to 3.5 to 4 tenths off of your ¼ mile time, and +3.5 to 4mph added to your trap speeds.
