2008-2010 Dodge Challenger Superchargers
ProCharger now has two complete intercooled systems for the 6.1L HEMI Challengers – a shared-drive, HO Intercooled System and dedicated-drive, Stage II Intercooled System. Both the HO and Stage II Systems allow SRT-8
Challenger owners to experience what 575+ HP feels like in these modern Mopar muscle cars. Both ProCharger Systems utilize the proven and patented P-1SC-1 ProCharger, a 3-core air-to-air intercooler, OEM-quality mounting
brackets and all necessary supercharger and intercooler tubes for installation onto the new Challengers. ProCharger systems for the 6.1L HEMI Challengers now utilize Diablosport® flash tuning systems to apply the
ProCharger-developed tune for both applications. Both the HO Intercooled and Stage II Intercooled Systems add more than 150 horsepower when installed onto the stock 6.1L Hemi engine while still running pump gas and enjoying all the day-to-day driveability you’ll want to experience every day. Thanks to the industry's coolest charge air temperatures and largest power gains, no other supercharger system for the awesome new Dodge Challenger even comes close.
For modified engines, the ProCharger Stage II Intercooled System supports the highest boost and power levels in the industry.
ProCharger 6.1L HEMI Tuner Kits
In addition to the two full systems, ProCharger also offers two Intercooled Tuner Kits for the 6.1L HEMI Challengers – an HO Intercooled Tuner Kit and a Stage II Intercooled Tuner Kit. With reliability, quality and power far superior to other forced-air induction systems, a ProCharger Tuner Kit is an excellent way to add even more power to modified and custom applications of the legendary 6.1L HEMI Charger. Tuner Kits require the purchase of a fuel system upgrade (injectors and fuel pump booster) and custom tuning.
All ProCharger 6.1L HEMI supercharger solutions (Systems and Tuner Kits), require the purchase of an aftermarket crankshaft damper (sold separately).
ProCharger HEMI Advantages
With reliability, quality and power far superior to other forced-air induction systems, ProCharger Systems and Tuner Kit are excellent ways to add even more power to these modern HEMI powerhouses. ProCharger supercharger systems for the EFI HEMI engines feature easy installation, minimal relocation of components, no need to punch a hole in the engine oil pan, and avoid having to deal with all the complexity of an air-to-water-to-air intercooler.
How Does It Work? In simple terms, an engine's ability to make power is directly proportionate to the amount of air and fuel that can be brought into the combustion chamber. Putting more
fuel in is easy. It's like opening a faucet. On the other hand, getting extra air into the chamber is a more difficult matter, since it's essentially "drawn" in. The Magna Charger supercharger increases the
displacement or "blows" more air into the engine. This is called "forced induction," and it's widely used in racing, aviation and industry to extract maximum power from internal combustion engines. You
get the fuel economy of a smaller engine, with the power and horsepower of a larger, stronger engine. What's Best For Racing Isn't Necessarily Best For The Street. A racing engine is designed to provide peak performance for a certain period of time. In drag racing it's a matter of seconds. For oval track racing, it can be 500 miles. That's nothing compared to the 100,000 plus miles that's expected of a street driven vehicle. Magna Charger's primary criteria is to manufacture systems that produce a high specific power output for long-term highway use without engine damage or undue wear.
OEM Quality, Emission Compliant. Each Magna Charger system is designed to strict OEM specifications and is completely integrated in today's compact engine compartments. In addition, they are engineered to be 100% compatible with all factory emissions equipment. Most Magna Charger systems are 50-state legal under C.A.R.B. EO # D-488, #D-488-1, #D-488-2, and #D-488-3 (certification numbers vary upon application) and EPA exempted.
Unique Internal Bypass Valve. The key feature of every Magna Charger system is the unique internal bypass valve. This virtually eliminates the parasitic pumping loss of the supercharger under part throttle and cruise conditions. For example, an Eaton M90 requires less than 1/3hp at 60 mph cruise.
Tested and Proven. Extensive engine and engine chassis dynamometer testing, as well as on-track performance evaluations, shows Magna Charger systems to increase horsepower and torque from 63-125% on GM Corvette engines. The Magna Charger supercharger system is a proven, reliable system, designed to maximize thermal efficiency. Accordingly, it will produce more horsepower per pound of boost than any other forced induction system for street applications on the market today.
Complete and Easy To Install. Ease of installation and maintenance is designed into every Magna Charger bolt-on supercharger kit: maintenance is minimal due to integrated lubrication and self-adjusting belt drive system. Every kit is 100% complete, including easy-to-follow illustrated installation manual; no special tools or fabrication are required.
