Thunder Racing offers many services to assist in building and tuning your engine, such as our DynoJet Chassis Dyno with wide band O2 capabilities, Power Technologies PT-200 Valve Spring Tester, and our Cam Pro Plus Camshaft testing device. We also have full shop and installation facilities, offering services ranging from simple cat-back exhaust installations, to complete engine build-ups. On 1993-1997 LT1 and 1998-2003 LS1 equipped vehicles, we offer custom computer tuning. Please feel free to e-mail or call us for more information on any of the products or services we offer.
 Standard shop services, such as installation of exhaust systems, subframe connectors, cold air intakes, and suspension components are available at Thunder Racing. We also offer complete in-house chassis fabrication services by Madman, from roll cages to wheelie bars to custom turbo and intercooler systems.  Our  SF-1020 Cylinder Head Flow-Bench is used for determining flow numbers on our race-ported cylinder heads. Please call 225-754-7223 for additional information on our cylinder head services.

South Louisiana's only DynoJet Chassis Dyno is located here at Thunder Racing. Our in-ground DynoJet model 248 Chassis Dyno is capable of handling 1200 rear-wheel horsepower. Wide band O2 sensor capabilities allow us to produce horsepower, torque, and air fuel ratio information for each vehicle. Our dyno is also equipped with a proportional air brake for easier diagnosis of drivability problems.

 Every cylinder head assembled by Thunder Racing utilizes our Power Technology PT-200 valve spring tester to ensure accurate and consistent valve spring setup. This spring tester is used by many of the leading camshaft companies in testing their different spring packages. We verify installed height, seat pressure, open pressure, coil bind height, and spring rate and can provide each customer with a printout outlining each of these parameters for their specific cylinder heads.

 Did you ever wonder what the REAL specs on your camshaft are? Duration and total lift numbers from a catalog do not tell you the whole story. Many times, cam manufacturers' advertised specs are based upon generic lobe information, which can vary depending on the make of the engine, base circle size, accuracy of cam grinding equipment used, etc.
